2008-02-01 - Light in safety and efficiency. The development of technology involves an appropriate progress of the safety standards and ergonomic aspects of machines and equipment. To intervene in the maintenance or tweaking phase, it is essential to have powerful lighting, distributed evenly without stroboscopic effects; failing these requirements, in fact, dangerous situations can arise for operators caused by areas of shadow, dazzling or poor flickering lighting.

Based on these conditions New Elfin has devised the new electronic lighting fixture for electric panels with the commitment to provide an efficient, easy to install and technologically advanced tool. The product resulting from this project is characterised by a modern compact design which makes the lamps extremely versatile, with different possibilities of positioning and an elevated speed of installation.

Comfort and safety

The new lighting fixtures are powered by electronic circuit controlled lamps doing away with the stroboscopic effect, characteristic of the old neon lamps. The stability and increase in the luminous emission guarantees, the operator who intervenes on the electric panel, a greater vision and concentration, so the maintenance work, analysis and intervention on equipment is easier, more comfortable and less stressful on the eyes.

Efficiency and convenience

The shape of the lamp and the new electronic tube guarantee a very ample luminous emission and an increase of 70% compared with traditional lamps. In fact an 8W lamp is comparable with one of 14 W, and the 13W version with one of 18/21 W. The new electronic lamps last decidedly longer than incandescent lamps and normal neon lamps. It is easy to see how these features give greater efficiency, a saving in terms of energy consumption and consequently costs.

Let us put ourselves in series

The new electronic lighting fixtures can be mounted in series of up to 5 elements. The entire lamp chain can be controlled by a single micro switch simplifying the installation stage and reducing the number of cables required to connect the elements. The switch is provided, already wired with the mains cable and a cable with plug to connect to the lamp, with the new bracket in resin with double interlocking fastening. With very few operations it is possible to brighten, with the efficiency of the new electronic lamps, large panels or electric cabinets saving on work time and materials.

Turn and brighten

The new electronic lamp turns on the aluminium bracket axle 180°. Combining this feature to the various possibilities of installation allowed by the newly designed bracket, an optimal diffusion of light is always guaranteed; we can overcome all possible problems of lighting caused by the internal size or configuration of panels or electric cabinets. With a few small steps, the design of the lamp allows to replace the neon without having to dismantle the entire lighting fixture from its support.

Speed of installation

A detailed research of the design, the choice of materials and creative genius have created the bracket in aluminium with multiple holes and cabled plug, which makes the new electronic lighting fixture, an easy to install tool.

A very “attractive” lighting fixture

Where it is not possible to install the lighting fixture with screws the powerful magnetic plate comes into play, allowing to locate the lamp on metal surfaces in the optimal position to provide the best lighting and to work in safety and comfort.

Light and energy

The PPE version of the electronic fluorescent lamps with socket are efficient and energy saving and manufactured with a sturdy aluminium structure. They incorporate two German 2P +T10 16A plug sockets to supply any monitoring or service equipment.
The PPE lamps are also available in 8W T5 and a 13W T5 version. A valid design and the sure performance of these lighting fixtures, make them a crucial product in guaranteeing safety and efficiency in an electric panel.

Complete and cabled

The careful design and particular shape make the PPE lighting fixture simple to install. The lamp is provided already cabled with a 3.5 m orange cable section 2+1x1.5 to meet customer satisfaction.

To complete the range of products for lighting electric panels comes the lighting fixture for incandescent lamps; manufactured in sturdy thermoplastic material they house incandescent lamps with E27 attachment up to 60W. These lighting fixtures also use the magnetic plate, making their positioning simpler and faster.

Looking good and travelling in comfort

New Elfin lighting fixtures look good and travel in comfort and safety. When the product comes off the production line the last stage begins before reaching its final destination: it is placed in attractive packaging, with clear technical and mounting information. Most importantly this packaging is sturdy to guarantee safe transport of the lighting fixtures.
